LPC-Intern Counseling Services

Intern Counseling Services

Licensed Professional Counselor-Interns are those who are accruing clinical experience and post-degree hours towards state licensure. And while not fully licensed, they do have life experience, intuition, and discernment that allow them to offer clients excellent care at reduced rates. Counseling services are provided directly by the LPC-Intern with families, individuals, couples, or groups. All interns are supervised weekly and include the review of progress notes, treatment plans, and audio or visual tapes in order to evaluate the intern’s effectiveness and development of skills; as well as, to promote the best interest of clients and the ethical provision of services.
