Counselor Supervision and Consultation
If you are searching for a counselor supervisor, congratulations on making it to this point within your academic journey! Carefully selecting a supervisor who is qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable is a foundational decision in transitioning from a counselor in training to an effective, competent, professional counselor in practice.
As a professor of counseling, I have worked with and supervised graduate and doctoral level students alike, supporting their developmental growth as they discover their unique therapeutic style and establish their professional identities within their respective communities.
In addition, if you have an interest in learning about operating and maintaining a private practice; as well as a desire to accumulate direct LPC hours, opportunities are available to provide individual and group counseling services upon meeting supervision and skill requirements.
If you would like to learn more, review The Application for Internship. If your professional goals are congruent with the stated mission and values, you are welcome to complete the form. If the practice is accepting LPC-Interns or practicum students at the time that you send in your application, you will be contacted to set an appointment for a formal interview.
